Burnout Liberation exists to support people of color on their wellness journeys.

We believe people thrive when they have ample time to rest, proper nourishment, respect, and freedom to be themselves. But this is often not the reality for Black women and people of color who experience high rates of burnout as their bodies are systematically overworked and devalued. To make the world well, the global majority must be well.

Burnout Liberation services and programs center people of color, but everyone is welcome.

“Burnout is not your fault. It can be, however, your responsibility to heal.”

I’m Nicole, a certified integrative health coach specializing in stress and burnout. I'm on a mission to help reduce rates of chronic stress and burnout, particularly in communities of color, so we’re not pouring from empty cups.

Community health has always been part of my work. Before creating Burnout Liberation, I spent two decades supporting artists, creatives, and nonprofit organizations across the U.S., and using my own creative practices to amplify social issues, from food insecurity to the housing crisis to Black maternal mortality.

I’ve experienced burnout a few times in my life, but it wasn’t until my health started deteriorating that I decided to do something about it. My journey of self-discovery and healing led me to help others who want to free themselves from extreme fatigue and create a new normal. As author Eva Selhub says, burnout is not your fault, but healing may be your responsibility.

In my personal journey, I struggled to find avenues for support that meaningfully validated my lived experiences as a Black queer woman. I want to be the coach for you I wish I’d had. What you’ll find in working with me is that I’ve created a container where you can be your whole self — and where we both feel safe and nourished in our work together.

My personal experiences are the foundation of my work, but my story isn’t yours. I don't prescribe one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I ask questions so you can go deep inside your life to understand what caused your burnout, develop stress management tools that serve your unique needs and circumstances, and start moving down the right healing path for you.
I’ve got your back the whole way.
