FAQ

  • Excellent question. Coaching can be therapeutic, but it’s not the same as traditional therapy. Coaches are not licensed medical practitioners and cannot diagnose or treat conditions.

    Coaching is action-oriented and future-oriented. It’s also accountability-focused, meaning you, the client, take proactive steps between coaching sessions and accept responsibility for those actions. I’m here to help you help yourself—and I already know you’re capable.

    Coaching is not me telling you what to do but helping you go deep into your inner well of wisdom and surface answers to your own questions.

    Because coaching and therapy are complementary, many of my clients simultaneously work with a therapist and me, which I highly recommend if within your means.

  • First, sessions are delivered via video conferencing, eliminating the need to travel to me or reside in the same state. Now, here’s what you can expect: A combination of reflection and action planning, so the insights you gain from our dialogue lead to real changes in your daily life. I draw from different modalities, combining motivational interviewing with mindfulness practices, such as breathwork, journaling, and bodily awareness techniques. With your permission, I’ll also integrate Reiki and tarot into your sessions for some healing woo.

  • I trained in holistic health coaching at the world-renowned Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In the years since, I’ve earned additional certifications in Gut Health, Stress Management, and Mental Health First Aid. I’m also a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. My coaching practice is informed by both my training and lived experiences.

    I’m currently pursuing a certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.

    A coach provides focus. The number one emotion associated with burnout is overwhelm. You already have too much on your plate, and making decisions alone drains your energy. I’ll teach you how to redirect your focus to what you can control.
